I am SO excited to be part of the blog tour for Dianne Duvall's brand new book, Rendezvous with Yesterday! Thank you to Author's Taproom for organizing the event. It's going to be great!
I read the first book in this amazing series earlier this year, and I LOVED it! It introduced me to Dianne as an author, and I couldn't get enough of it - I re-read it at least a dozen times.
Read on for information about the second book, followed by a giveaway and an exclusive post you will only find here on Lady with a Quill - Dianne's Dream Cast!

Modern-day bounty hunter Bethany Bennett helps her brother track two fugitives to a forest outside of Houston, Texas. But what should have been a routine apprehension of two bail skippers spirals out of control and ends in violence. After Beth and her brother are both seriously injured, a mysterious figure suddenly looms over her. And, when the smoke clears, Beth finds herself not only in another place, but in another time.
As Lord Robert, Earl of Fosterly, attempts to identify and track down the nameless enemy who has been plaguing his lands and people with violence, the most peculiar woman stumbles into his path. Small, vulnerable, yet possessed of a bold, fiery spirit and wicked sense of humor, she persists in dubbing Robert and his men members of something called a medieval reenactment group . . . until she sees his castle and labels herself mad. It seems bounty hunter Bethany Bennett has come to him from the future, bringing with her laughter and chaos, swiftly winning the hearts of his people and inspiring within him a love he thought he would never experience again. But when Robert discovers a way for her to return to her time, will the love they share be enough to keep them together?

And now for Dianne's Dream Cast Reveal!
Thank you so much for joining me! I’m very happy to be here at Lady with a Quill, celebrating the upcoming release of my time-travel romance RENDEZVOUS WITH YESTERDAY, The Gifted Ones Book 2.
When I’m not writing, I work in the local independent film industry. I’ve done everything from script editing and organizing casting auditions to providing special effects and special effects makeup to editing the films and cutting trailers. So it’s only natural that—each time I finish writing a book—my mind turns toward casting the film that I hope one day will be made of it. ☺
Dream Casts for my Immortal Guardians books have always come easily to me. But I admit I found constructing a Dream Cast for RENDEZVOUS WITH YESTERDAY to be a bit of a challenge. There are quite a few actors I can always count on to deliver a gripping performance. But many of those are men and women I just can’t quite picture in medieval England. Either that or I didn’t think they could speak with a British accent. LOL. I do like a challenge, however, so here is the cast I have chosen:
Richard Madden - Lord Robert (the hero)
Scarlett Johansson - Bethany Bennett (the heroine)
Henry Cavill— Lord Dillon (Robert’s brother and the hero of A SORCERESS OF HIS OWN, The Gifted Ones Book 1)
Eva Green—Alyssa (Dillon’s wife and the heroine of A SORCERESS OF HIS OWN)
Chris Evans—Josh Bennett (Bethany’s brother)
Daniel Radcliffe—Marcus (Robert’s squire)
Orlando Bloom—Sir Michael
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau—Sir Adam
Sam Worthington—Sir Stephen
What do you think? If you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear them. And just a note: If you pre-order RENDEZVOUS WITH YESTERDAY, you’ll save $1 (e-book) AND be eligible to enter my ongoing Rendezvous with Yesterday Pre-Order Giveaway. ☺
