Blog Tour: Phantom Embrace by Dianne Duvall

I am so happy to introduce Dianne Duvall as a guest to my blog today! I have enjoyed reading many of her books, and I am so excited for the recent release of her novella, Phantom Embrace. Before we get started, here's a little background on Dianne:

Dianne Duvall is the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author of the Immortal Guardians paranormal romance series and The Gifted Ones series. Her books have twice been nominated for the RT Reviewers' Choice Award for Best Vampire Romance and are routinely deemed Top Picks by RT Book Reviews, The Romance Reviews, and/or Night Owl Reviews. Reviewers have called Dianne's books "utterly addictive" (RT Book Reviews), "fast-paced and humorous" (Publishers Weekly), "extraordinary" (Long and Short Reviews), and "wonderfully imaginative" (The Romance Reviews).

Dianne loves all things creative. When she isn't writing, Dianne is active in the independent film industry and has even appeared on-screen, crawling out of a moonlit grave and wielding a machete like some of the vampires she has created in her books.

And now, without further ado, please welcome Dianne Duvall!

Thank you so much for joining me! I’m very happy to be here at Lady With a Quill, celebrating the release of my Immortal Guardians novella PHANTOM EMBRACE. Since summer is already well underway, I thought I would share some of my favorite summer vacation destinations with you (and would love to hear what some of yours are).

  1. The mountains. My best childhood memories include escaping the sweltering summer heat and flat landscape of my home town by heading north, packing a picnic basket, piling into a jeep, and venturing up this or that barely discernible trail in the mountains of Colorado. We explored ghost towns, abandoned mines, caves, and more. I got to play in the snow in July, splash through streams, and clamber up waterfalls. It was wonderful.

  2. The beach. It’s always nice to get out of the city and head for the beach. Sunshine, ocean breezes, and waves lapping at my toes . . . very relaxing. And if that beach is in the Bahamas, where the water is so clear you can see the bottom of the ocean and all of the colorful fish flitting about in it, all the better.

  3. North Carolina. How could I not enjoy visiting the home of my Immortal Guardians? The rolling hills, the forests, the rivers and streams, those deliciously foggy nights . . . All of it just fires my imagination and fills my head with scenes for future books.

  4. England. I thought I would throw in a dream vacation destination. ☺ I would love to visit England, the country in which my novel A SORCERESS OF HIS OWN takes place, and the homeland of three of my Immortal Guardians. I suspect visiting England would fire my imagination as much as North Carolina does.

  5. Home. For me, nothing really beats kicking back and relaxing at home with family and friends. I think that’s why I made David’s home such a warm family environment for my Immortal Guardians. ☺ After centuries (or, in some cases, millennia) of hunting psychotic vampires on a nightly basis, they all could use a little laughter and teasing in their lives, so I gave them a homey retreat and makeshift family in which to find it.

Thank you so much, Dianne! It was a pleasure hosting you on my blog! Below please find buy links for her novella, as well as an exciting giveaway.

Across dimensions . . .

Born with the ability to see spirits, immortal Yuri Sokolov avoids making contact with them, because such has always yielded negative results...until lovely Cat Seddon begins haunting his home and his dreams. As a new threat rises against the Immortal Guardians, Yuri disregards all the rules so he can be with Cat, even though the consequences are substantial.

For centuries, Catherine Seddon has been alone. When her brother is forced to join the Immortal Guardians’ ranks, she haunts the primary home of the powerful warriors to keep an eye on him, and soon finds herself captivated by Yuri. The handsome Russian immortal swiftly banishes her loneliness as friendship grows between them and deepens into love. But can two people who are unable to touch find a future together?
